The meaning behind the name
ETHEA is an ethical, human-centred AI platform. Ethical AI. Impactful Conversations. The name evokes Ethics, Empathy, Humanity and AI, drawing on the Greek Ethos (moral character) and Aletheia (truth, authenticity): technology guided by ethical values and genuine human understanding.
The eucalyptus, from the Greek eu ("well") and kalyptos ("covered"), refers to the protective cap that shields the flower bud until it is ready to bloom. Technology quietly protects and supports, so that people themselves can open up, flourish and reconnect. First protection, then openness.
Technology should never replace human relationships. Technology should help restore them.
